₹. xxx.99

Use : Dry cough, allergic rhinitis

Product Description :

  • • Florastick-BC Capsule is a comprehensive formulation of probiotic Lactic Acid Bacillus with B-Complex vitamins and Zinc, designed to restore intestinal microflora while correcting nutritional deficiencies.
  • • The probiotic component helps maintain healthy gut flora, especially during antibiotic therapy, while the B-complex vitamins and Zinc support energy metabolism, nerve function, immunity, and overall gastrointestinal health.
  • • This balanced combination makes Florastick-BC an ideal supplement during digestive disturbances, weakness, and vitamin deficiencies.

Composition (per 5 mL):

  • • Pyridoxine (Vitamin B₆) — 1.5 mg
  • • Nicotinamide (Niacinamide) — 15 mg
  • • Folic acid — 100 µg
  • • Lactic Acid Bacillus — 40 million spores
  • • Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate (equivalent elemental zinc) — 5 mg
  • • This combination is designed as a nutritional & gut-support formulation to replenish B-vitamins, folate, zinc, and beneficial gut flora, useful particularly in situations with gastrointestinal disturbances, micronutrient deficiencies, or recovery from diarrhoea.

Indications/Use:

  • • Supporting gut health & flora balance — supplementation of lactic acid bacilli to help restore normal intestinal microflora after disturbances (e.g. after infection, antibiotic use, or diarrhoea)
  • • Micronutrient replenishment — correction or prevention of deficiencies of vitamin B6, niacinamide (vitamin B3), folic acid, and zinc in periods of increased demand or loss (e.g. in malabsorption, chronic GI conditions, or recovery).
  • • Adjunct in diarrhoeal therapy — to support gut mucosa recovery, reduce frequency/ severity of loose stools, and improve nutrient absorption.
  • • General digestive support in conditions with mild dysbiosis, flatulence, indigestion, etc.
  • • Note: Indications must conform to local regulatory approvals and any medical claims must be substantiated by clinical or empirical evidence

Dosage & Administration:

  • • The dry powder is to be reconstituted with a specified amount of boiled, cooled water (per label instructions) to yield a suspension..
  • • Shake well before use to ensure uniform dispersion of spores and nutrients.
  • • Use a calibrated measuring device (spoon, dropper, or syringe) to deliver an accurate 5 mL dose (or as prescribed).
  • • Frequency and duration should be as per physician’s direction (commonly 2–3 times daily in many probiotic/micronutrient products, but depending on severity/clinical context).
  • • After reconstitution, store in the refrigerator (2–8 °C) and use within the stability period (e.g. 7–14 days) — label must state the shelf-life post-reconstitution.

  • • Use in special populations (pregnancy, lactation, pediatrics): Use only if benefit outweighs risks; require appropriate physician oversight.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component (e.g., B-vitamins, zinc, lactic acid bacilli).

Precautions:

  • • In immunocompromised patients, caution using live bacterial spores.
  • • In severe intestinal lesions / compromised gut mucosa, evaluate safety of microbial supplementation.
